Outer Banks Sporting Events is rolling out the details for their 3rd annual Cycle Event to take place on September 29th, 2018. It is an honor to have been contacted by Kathryn and Patrice Heasly, the daughter and wife of a gentleman that passed away at the First Flight 5K in 2013. Outer Banks Sporting Events celebrated a $50M impact on the Outer Banks in the last ten years. The event took place at the Duck Wood Country Club Sep. 15. Present were longtime Outer Banks Sporting Events sponsors, board members, and founders. Outer Banks Sporting Events organizes the TowneBank Outer Banks Marathon, Flying Pirate Half Marathon, and 3 other races Outer Banks Sporting Events welcomes new executive director, Ray Robinson. Originally from the Winston Salem area of North Carolina, Ray attended Elizabeth City State University to earn his undergraduate degree in political science.
